ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Belle, the owner and designer behind Belle Smith Jewellery. Originally from Birmingham, my journey into jewellery design began when I moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins. there I immersed myself in the craft of creating beautiful, meaningful pieces. Over the past 10 years I’ve refined my skills whilst working with renowned jewellers in London’s iconic Hatton Garden, gaining invaluable experience in the heart of the jewellery world.

Now based in Leeds, I draw inspiration from the natural world and the stories we carry. My designs balance traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistry, featuring carefully selected gemstones and delicate details to create jewellery that feels elegant, personal, and like no other.

SUSTAINABILITY

At Belle Smith i strive to source ethical materials, choosing suppliers who align with my values and ensuring that my gemstones and metals are responsibly sourced.

i also make a conscious effort to incorporate recycled and reclaimed materials wherever possible, offering bespoke services to melt down sentimental gold and repurpose heirloom stones. I ALSO USE LAB GROWN DIAMONDS ON REQUEST.

My designs are made to last – a reflection of MY belief in slow fashion and creating pieces that are meant to be treasured for a lifetime. I understand that there’s always more to learn and do, and I’m continuously seeking new ways to improve MY sustainability practices.
